About The Position
This position is located at Arts and Crafts - Fort Irwin, California. Our Arts and Crafts programs help you relax, learn, and connect with others in your community. The main duties of this position will involve sewing and leading the sewing program. This is an open continuous announcement. Qualified candidates will be referred on a weekly or as needed basis.
Requirements
- Work experience which involved dealing with the general public.
- Must be willing to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Sewing experience is highly preferred for this position.
Responsibilities
- In a patron usage facility, circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory; receives and resolves customer complaints; provides information and general instructions on the use of equipment, facilities and machinery.
- Assists patrons in use of the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instruction, demonstrating new equipment, teaching classes, etc.
- Plans, conducts, publicizes and arranges support for special events, social activities, tournaments and related functions.
- May provide work guidance to other staff.
- Performs other duties as assigned
