About The Position

The Operations Associate supports store sales, profitability, and the customer experience by completing daily operational tasks in a Neiman Marcus store. The role assists with stocking, receiving, order fulfillment, and merchandise handling while maintaining merchandise organization. It reports to the RPSO Manager and works with managers and visual teams to maintain standards and support store operations.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of retail experience.
• Flexibility in handling competing tasks and a “win together” mentality.
• Basic proficiency with the MS Office product suite.
• Certain roles may require standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds.
• Work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily store operations and assist leads and managers.
• Handle merchandise, transfers, and inbound and outbound freight.
• Fulfill, pack, and ship online and in-store customer orders.
• Place merchandise according to merchandise standards.
• Complete price changes and reticketing, and move and sign product once marked.
• Process reticketing, damages, mark-outs of stock, and related inventory controls.
• Back-stock merchandise and organize and maintain the stockroom.
• Merchandise products and set sale events and signage under the guidance of managers and Visual, ensuring standards are followed.
• Support setup and takedown of in-store events and activations.
• Follow safety procedures on the dock and in all other work areas.
