The Operational Controls Analyst executes the Company’s key risk programs to help ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and applicable laws, rules, and regulations, including agency and investor requirements. The role may include reviewing and researching loan files. The analyst prepares and monitors monthly reports on material, moderate, and recurring exceptions; provides feedback on policy and procedure updates; gathers business-line requirements; develops standard test scripts in internal systems; and performs user acceptance testing as applicable. The position also manages monthly vendor scorecard oversight and conducts loan reviews requested by investors, agencies, insurers, or warehouse lenders. The analyst analyzes review results for trends in loan quality or personnel, escalates loan concerns with supporting documentation, and may occasionally serve as a delegate to more senior team members. This is an on-site position at an assigned office location. The work takes place in a cubicle hub, where employees must maintain focus on phone calls amid nearby conversations. The role involves prolonged stationary, sedentary work and constant repetitive computer use, including typing and managing phone calls. Regular, punctual attendance is required, and occasional adjusted schedules, overtime, and evening or weekend hours may be needed to meet deadlines or business needs. Employees must have a smartphone meeting Company security standards and be able to install apps such as Microsoft Authenticator; employment is contingent on this requirement.
