About The Position

The Operation Supervisor leads a production area and is accountable for its Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability, and People performance. The supervisor drives results through the Plan–Do–Check–Adjust cycle and Lean, IL6S, and TPM practices, including autonomous and progressive maintenance. The role focuses on understanding and eliminating losses while maintaining safe, high-quality food manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include leading safety processes such as LOTO, safety maps, BOS, and root cause analysis; verifying food safety, critical control points, sanitation, and product integrity; and responding rapidly to deviations. The supervisor oversees equipment basic conditions and maintenance strategies, line startups, shutdowns, and changeovers, while improving throughput, downtime, waste, and OEE. The role also makes performance visible through hourly boards, digital trackers, and deviation logs. The supervisor leads and develops a diverse team across multiple lines by setting expectations, providing feedback, coaching on the floor, handling interpersonal situations, and building future leadership capacity. In a union environment, the role may also require effective influence. The supervisor uses Six Sigma, root cause analysis, breakdown-elimination tools, and Kaizens to achieve lasting improvements, sustain standards through SOPs, centerlining, and OnePoint Lessons, and reduce stops and losses. This is a Monday–Friday second-shift role, generally 3 PM to 11 PM, with occasional flexibility to support other shifts and weekends. Work takes place on a lively production floor and requires PPE, mobility, and hands-on leadership. The position offers a base salary range of $77,600 to $106,700 and eligibility for a performance-based bonus program.
