This position is contingent on a contract award. The Onsite EAP Consultant will provide counseling services related to workplace and career concerns, emotional and mental health, relationship and family issues, work-life balance, and health and wellness. The role also involves conducting substance use screenings and coordinating appropriate treatment referrals. The consultant will provide direct support to organizations and their employees through assessment, consultation, education, and triage services. They will use knowledge of federal regulations to assist organizations in handling employee concerns and problems, consult with employees and organizations on various workplace issues, and provide clinical expertise to restore employees with diminished performance to healthy functioning. Additionally, the role includes providing employee and management consultation, conducting critical incident response services, EAP assessment and short-term counseling, EAP orientations, customer webinars, and health and wellness trainings. The consultant will manage their caseload and documentation to meet performance expectations, provide information and referral to appropriate levels of care and community resources, and participate in activities to improve performance, excellence, and culture. They will also identify and recommend solutions for operational challenges and inefficiencies, analyze and present issues clearly, develop effective working relationships, and take responsibility for their own development.
