About The Position

This is an unpaid volunteer position where the Onboarding & Offboarding Supervisor will provide leadership, guidance, and support to onboarding and offboarding coordinators and team members. The role involves collaborating with HR Talent Acquisition leadership to improve and streamline onboarding and offboarding processes, overseeing daily department operations, ensuring timely completion of documentation and tasks, and coordinating with managers across departments regarding new team members. The supervisor will also partner with HR on best practices, global initiatives, volunteer offboarding, and performance feedback, while attending monthly team meetings and completing additional duties as assigned. The position requires attending a team meeting on the second Tuesday of each month at 12:30pm EST. The organization is currently only hiring female identifying volunteers, in accordance with their BFOQ policy. This role is best suited for individuals seeking a longer-term volunteer opportunity (12+ months preferred) and requires active engagement with the organization's social media platforms.

Requirements

  • Must be available to volunteer 12-15 hours a week.
  • Based in the USA.
  • Able to work set hours (neg).
  • Female identifying volunteers only.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and workplace policies preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, delegate, and thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • Seeking a longer-term volunteer opportunity (12+ months preferred).

Responsibilities
