This is an unpaid volunteer position for individuals seeking a flexible hours engagement role to gain valuable work experience while helping further the efforts of ARO’s mission in assisting victims of abuse. The role offers the flexibility of working in a virtual environment and interacting worldwide with others who share a passion for making a difference. It provides opportunities for skill development, departmental cross-training, leadership roles, mentoring, and excelling within a chosen vocation. The position requires a commitment of 10+ hours per week and is best suited for individuals seeking a longer-term volunteer opportunity (12+ months preferred). ARO is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) focused on assisting those abused in 21 major areas of abuse. Currently, ARO is only hiring female identifying volunteers due to a BFOQ policy, with plans to expand opportunities in the future.
