About The Position

This is an unpaid volunteer position where you will collaborate with the Offboarding Manager and oversee a team of Offboarding Coordinators. The role involves developing and implementing strategies to improve and streamline the offboarding process, ensuring timely offboarding, tracking pending cases, and communicating with department managers regarding unresponsive team members. You will also oversee daily department workflow, support critical needs, and coordinate national-level initiatives. Additionally, you will provide constructive and timely performance evaluations and perform other related duties as assigned. This role is best suited for individuals seeking a longer-term volunteer opportunity (12+ months preferred) and requires availability of 12-15+ hours per week. Volunteers are expected to actively engage with the organization's social media platforms.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification a plus
  • Strong understanding of employment laws, HR policies, technology, and technical roles
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, leadership, and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, delegate effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to volunteer 12-15+ hours per week
  • Must be U.S.-based and available during EST business hours
  • Seeking a longer-term volunteer opportunity (12+ months preferred)
  • Only hiring female identifying volunteers
