About The Position

Surge Staffing is seeking a self-motivated, eager On-Site Supervisor with a passion for helping people reach their goals. The role supports a major Surge client by meeting temporary staffing and/or training needs, providing high-quality service to the customer and temporary employees, and developing and retaining business through outstanding customer service. The supervisor also performs administrative work, monitors employee attendance, assists with workers’ compensation claims, and reconciles vendor invoices. The role requires fluency in English and Spanish.

Requirements

• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English and Spanish.
• High school diploma required.
• Proven leadership or success in a previous managerial role.
• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to build or enhance successful business partnerships.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory role or 3–5 years of customer service experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Administrative skills.
• Experience performing background checks, I-9 processing, and E-Verify.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the internet.

Responsibilities

• Meet the temporary staffing and/or training needs of a major Surge client.
• Deliver high-quality service to the customer and temporary employees.
• Develop and retain business by providing outstanding customer service.
• Perform a variety of administrative tasks.
• Monitor employee attendance.
• Process and assist with workers’ compensation claims.
• Reconcile invoices from vendors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
