On-Site Service Representative (Full-Time) East Denver
About The Position
Grainger is hiring a full-time On-Site Service Representative (OSR) to service customers along an East Denver route. The OSR supports assigned customers by managing inventory, providing customer service, and driving account growth through customers’ KeepStock inventory management program. The representative works with partners to implement sales strategies and help customers understand Grainger’s solutions for their maintenance, repair, and operating (MRO) needs. The position reports to a Supervisor or Manager of Onsite Services and works Monday through Friday, between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a selling or service environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift 25 to 60 pounds and/or work in difficult positions.
- Collaboration and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle different technical and operational issues.
- Valid driver’s license in the state of residence, which must be maintained.
- Must carry the required levels of automobile insurance.
Responsibilities
- Service multiple customer locations.
- Receive and stock purchased products in designated customer locations, and scan inventory as it is depleted to maintain stocking levels and support ordering.
- Promptly resolve customer problems to retain and promote customer loyalty.
- Follow the route designated by routing software tools and maintain route guides.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, processes, and cycle time.
- Comply with safety and inspection requirements at the facilities where service is provided.
- Engage customers to identify additional product needs and help create new orders.
- Probe for customer needs during site visits and work with sales partners to expand Grainger’s offerings.
