About The Position

Grainger is hiring a part-time On-Site Service Representative in the Oxford/Fairfield, Ohio area. The representative supports assigned customers by managing inventory, providing customer service, and growing accounts through the KeepStock inventory management program. The role partners with others to implement sales strategies and help customers understand Grainger solutions for their maintenance, repair, and operating (MRO) needs. The position is hourly, with an anticipated base pay range of $23 to $26 per hour.

Requirements

Three years of experience in a selling or service environment.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift 25 to 60 pounds and/or work in difficult positions.
Collaboration and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle different technical and operational issues.
Valid driver's license in the state of residence, maintained throughout employment.
Ability to maintain required levels of automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

Service multiple customer locations.
Receive and stock purchased products at designated customer locations and maintain stocking levels by scanning depleted inventory for ordering.
Resolve customer problems promptly to retain and promote customer loyalty.
Follow routes defined by routing software and maintain route guides.
Identify opportunities to improve productivity, processes, and cycle time.
Comply with facility safety and inspection requirements.
Engage customers to identify additional product needs and help create new orders.
Probe for customer needs during site visits and work with sales partners to expand Grainger offerings.
