About The Position

Auburn Crest Hospice is seeking a compassionate and dependable On-Call Registered Nurse to serve patients in Bonner's Ferry. The role provides after-hours telephone triage from 5:00 PM Friday through 8:30 AM Monday, with in-home patient visits as needed. The nurse documents care, communicates patient updates to case managers, and supports patients and families during critical moments of care. The position involves working independently while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to provide hospice care. On-call service pays $300 per week for the Friday–Sunday coverage period. Patient visits are paid at an hourly rate starting at $40 per hour, with mileage reimbursement.

Requirements

Current Idaho Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Minimum of one year of nursing experience.
Current CPR certification.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.
Schedule flexibility for weekday evening/night time, weekends, and holidays.
Travel is required.
Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and current vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities
