About The Position

The Omnichannel Associate contributes to profitable sales growth by carrying out Enterprise Fulfillment and jcp.com activities and strategies, along with customer service and sales and general operations. The role includes assisting customers, fulfilling online orders, handling jcp.com transactions and stock-area processes, replenishing merchandise, and participating in inventory activities. Associates are expected to meet performance standards for shrink and safety, omnichannel operations, customer service, profit, productivity, and attendance.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of work experience.
• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills that support sales, profit, and customer service.
• Ability to execute work effectively and efficiently and maintain high standards of accountability.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations with energy and a positive attitude.
• Ability to build positive, inclusive, and respectful relationships and take accountability for actions and outcomes.
• Proactive approach to improving the customer experience, with confidence, courage, energy, and urgency.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in finding products, provide outstanding customer service, listen calmly to customer issues and resolve problems, promote company products and services, and partner effectively with team members.
• Monitor the Enterprise Fulfillment systems application, pick merchandise orders, and acknowledge completion in the system.
• Pack orders accurately according to packaging requirements and timelines.
• Complete Ship from Store and Buy Online Pickup in Store activities in a timely manner.
• Research jcp.com order shortages and overages, and complete shipment check-in.
• Complete order binning and system reporting for jcp.com processes.
• Help organize and maintain the jcp.com stock area.
• Process jcp.com order delivery and return transactions on the register.
• Partner with Merchandise Associates or Assistants to replenish the store, or personally replenish products from inventory.
• Participate in the annual inventory process.
• Meet established performance standards, including shrink and safety initiatives, omnichannel, customer service, profit, productivity, and attendance.
