About The Position

Talbots is seeking an Omni Specialist to support omni-channel operations, store systems, and customer service at its Overland Park, Kansas store. The role drives operational activities forward, creates exceptional customer experiences, and helps the team build lasting relationships with customers. The specialist completes and leads omni duties, supports order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, backroom organization, visual merchandising, and store opening or closing as needed. The role may also include supervising other associates and completing additional assigned duties.

Open availability up to and including 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Drive omni-related business activities, operational work, and store systems.
Create exceptional customer experiences and help team members build enduring customer relationships.
Complete and lead omni duties, including Direct Fulfillment, BOPIS, BOPAC, Ship to Store, Transfers, MOS, and Damages.
Work with MM/GM/SM/OM to determine and complete daily and weekly priorities.
Participate in visual merchandising activities and store sets.
Handle shipping, receiving, and backroom activities, including receiving and processing freight, maintaining timely merchandise flow, and keeping the backroom clean, neat, and organized.
Assist with facilities management as needed.
Use all aspects of the Order from Store system proficiently and assist team members with it as needed.
Protect company assets and help maintain a safe work environment.
Complete other assigned duties, such as physical inventory, supply orders, and maintenance.
Lead or supervise others as needed.
Open the store for business and/or close the store as needed.
