About The Position

This is a hands-on summer internship providing training in various aspects of the hotel business. The intern serves as a utility player, rotating among departments and entry-level positions according to business needs. Rotations include front office, housekeeping, food and beverage outlets and events, and pool and recreation; other departments or roles may be added as needed. Based on performance, the internship can result in acceptance into the Leader in Development (LID) program at the end of the summer season.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn and take on different projects.
• Ability to adapt to changing environments.
• Ability to walk, sit, stand, squat, and lean for extended periods during daily business.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a customer service position.

Responsibilities

• Work flexibly in various entry-level service positions throughout the property.
• Rotate among front office, housekeeping, food and beverage outlets and events, and pool and recreation; additional departments or roles may be included based on business needs.
• Attend to and anticipate guests’ needs.
• Adapt to changing schedules and demonstrate flexibility.
• Demonstrate excellent teamwork.
• Attend Omni Care Internship training and enrichment seminars during the summer season.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Leader.
