About The Position

The Older Toddler Teacher works with children ages 2–3 in a childcare or daycare center, creating a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment. The teacher supports children’s social and emotional development, builds positive relationships with families, and collaborates with a co-teacher and the wider faculty. Teachers plan engaging activities based on children’s interests, communicate with parents about children’s experiences and achievements, and contribute to a supportive classroom and school community. The role offers opportunities to develop teaching skills and grow professionally in early childhood education.

Requirements

High school diploma required.
Ability to develop relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members.
Ability to calmly and professionally address stressful situations while multitasking to support smooth school operations.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when handling children, facilitating programs, ensuring child safety, and responding to potential emergencies.
Must meet background check eligibility.

Nice To Haves

1–2 years of previous experience preferred.
