Toddler Teacher
About The Position
The Goddard School in Anderson Township is hiring a Toddler Teacher for children ages 18–36 months. The teacher uses Goddard’s Wonder of Learning curriculum to create and deliver engaging activities that foster children’s curiosity and learning. The role involves building relationships with children and parents, communicating with parents at drop-off and pick-up, and supervising a class while maintaining a safe, nurturing learning environment. Teachers work with supportive directors and fellow educators in a modern, well-equipped campus and participate in school community events. The school provides teaching supplies and opportunities for professional and career growth, including support toward obtaining a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. The school is open Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.; the position offers a set schedule with no nights or weekends.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Dependable, positive, and able to work well as part of a team and without extensive supervision.
- Caring and enthusiastic about making an impact on young children’s lives.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds in connection with handling children.
- Early childhood experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities
- Use Goddard’s Wonder of Learning curriculum to create and deliver engaging activities that foster children’s curiosity and learning.
- Build relationships with students and parents and celebrate children’s milestones.
- Communicate with parents daily at drop-off and pick-up.
- Supervise a class of children at the required teacher-to-child ratio while maintaining a safe and nurturing learning environment.
- Participate in school community events, including the Fall Festival, Carnivals, Summer Picnic, and Parents’ Night Out.
- Collaborate with directors and fellow teachers and continue developing professionally.
