About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring a full-time Oil Change Team Member to join its shop crew. No prior experience is required; paid training is provided to develop team members into lube technicians. The role includes changing oil, replacing oil filters, wiper blades, and air filters, filling tires, and performing other light maintenance services. Team members are expected to work hard, learn, maintain a positive attitude, and provide excellent customer service. The company offers opportunities to advance, including a path from lube technician to shop leadership.

Requirements

No prior experience is required; willingness to learn and work hard and a positive attitude are expected.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
Must be over 18 years of age, or over 16 in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.

Responsibilities

Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
Inspect and top off fluids.
Perform coolant exchanges.
Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
Maintain a clean work environment.
Provide excellent customer service.
Replace wiper blades and air filters and perform other light maintenance services.
