About The Position
Take 5 Oil Change is hiring a full-time Oil Change Team Member to work as a crew member and lube technician. No prior experience is required; paid training is provided to teach the technician to change oil, replace wiper blades and air filters, fill tires with air, and perform other light maintenance services. The role suits people who are willing to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude to the shop. Compensation is up to $15 per hour with base pay and commissions. Team members may advance through the company, and more than 90% of Shop Managers started as lube technicians.
Requirements
- No experience required; the employer provides training.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and twist for extended periods, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning.
- Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
- Must be over 18 years of age, except applicants over 16 may qualify in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.

Responsibilities
- Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
- Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
- Inspect and top off fluids.
- Perform coolant exchanges.
- Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service.
