About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring full-time crew members and lube technicians. No prior experience is required; paid training is provided to teach team members how to change oil, replace wiper blades and air filters, fill tires, and perform other light maintenance services. The role suits people who are willing to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude to the shop. The company describes opportunities to advance through its Pit Tech to President growth path, with over 90% of field leaders promoted internally and over 90% of Shop Managers having started as lube technicians. Compensation is advertised at up to $15 per hour, including base pay and commissions, with weekly bonuses.

Requirements

• No experience is required; training is provided.
• Be willing to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
• Be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
• Be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
• Have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
• Be over 18 years of age, or over 16 in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
• Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
• Inspect and top off fluids.
• Perform coolant exchanges.
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service.
