About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring full-time crew members and lube technicians. No prior experience is required; paid training is provided. Team members learn to change oil, replace wiper blades and air filters, fill tires, and perform other light maintenance services. The role is suited to people who are willing to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude to the shop. Take 5 offers opportunities to advance, with more than 90% of Shop Managers having started as lube technicians. The position offers base pay and commissions of up to $15 per hour, with weekly bonuses. Flexible schedules are available, and early access to earned wages is available through myFlexPay.

Requirements

• Be willing to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
• Be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
• Be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions when necessary.
• Have reliable transportation to and from the shop.

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
• Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
• Inspect and top off fluids.
• Perform coolant exchanges.
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service.
