About The Position

The Office Operations Junior Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Office Operations department. This role will assist with day-to-day office functions that help ensure efficient and effective office operations. The Junior Assistant will gain hands-on experience in a professional office environment while supporting initiatives related to FASB/GASB/FAF.

Responsibilities

  • Stock inventory in the Work Café and Beverage Station (e.g., cups, plates, bowls, utensils, napkins, coffee, tea, milk, sugar, honey).
  • Ensure coffee machine is in working order and empty the used pod container.
  • Clean and wipe down tables, chairs, high-top chairs, counters, and islands in each Work Café.
  • Deliver newspaper to Marsha Hunt and Information Research.
  • Deliver mail to staff.
  • Deliver package deliveries to staff upon receipt and obtain staff signature.
  • Deliver copy/print requests to staff upon completion.
  • Check the SLT drawer for appropriate stock of supplies.
  • Stock each printer location with supplies (e.g., paper, paper clips, binder clips, rubber bands, staples, staplers).
  • Open Office Operations and Food Service Supply deliveries and place items into inventory areas.
  • Assist with food deliveries and set up the lunch area with required supplies (e.g., soda, water, snacks, plates, napkins, utensils, ice, cups).
  • Assist with setting up coffee/beverage service with supplies (e.g., soda, water, snacks, ice, cups).
  • Assist with moving furniture and/or configurations (e.g., chairs).
  • Assist after events with cleaning and wiping down tables, chairs, counters, and islands to reset the location.
  • Set up waters and coasters at each seat in the boardroom(s).
  • Set up waters in conference rooms.
  • Clean radiators in exterior offices on the 6th and 7th floors on a monthly basis.
  • Dust conference room and work café light fixtures on a monthly basis.
  • Follow all department procedures.
