About The Position

Millcreek Metals is seeking a friendly, outgoing Office Cashier for its Blackfoot, Idaho location. The Cashier is often the first point of contact for customers, drivers, vendors, and visitors, providing courteous and professional service in person and over the phone. The position handles customer payments, loading authorizations, shipping documents, payment records, accounts payable, phone calls, and filing. The role may also support month-end close, account reconciliations, and other accounting duties, with training and support from accounting professionals at the corporate office.

Requirements

• At least one year of cashier or customer service experience is preferred.
• Detail-oriented with accurate data-entry skills.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to cooperate with others.
• Good attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work Tuesday through Saturday.
• Ability to learn new software and procedures quickly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, drivers, vendors, and visitors in person and over the phone.
• Pay customers and record payments.
• Prepare loading authorizations and shipping documents for drivers.
• Handle accounts payable and enter accounts payable information.
• Make bank visits.
• Answer phones and file documents.
• Assist with month-end close, account reconciliations, and other accounting duties as needed.
