About The Position

Fink's Jewelers is seeking a Full-Time Office Assistant for their new flagship store in Richmond, Virginia. This role supports sales activities, manages customer records, processes transactions, and handles jewelry repair intake and follow-up. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proficient in Microsoft Office, and comfortable learning new systems like POS and ERP software. The position offers favorable retail hours, Monday through Saturday, with Sundays off.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Support sales activities using the POS system
  • Process sales transactions
  • Handle layaways and special orders
  • Maintain customer records, special order files, and layaway files
  • Processing incoming and outgoing inventory transfers
  • Prepare packages and documentation for shipping and mail
  • Manage jewelry repair intake and follow-up
  • Communicate repair estimates
  • Track completion and shipping dates
  • Notify customers when repairs are complete
  • Assist customers in person and by phone
  • Research transactions using the company's ERP software
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned
