This position is open to Alaska Residents only. The Department of Family and Community Services, Office of Children's Services (OCS) is recruiting for full-time Office Assistant 2 located in Anchorage, Alaska. The Office Assistant 2 is the clerical support to the OCS Anchorage Regional foster care licensing team. Primarily the individual selected will provide for child safety in foster homes by: assisting to process background fingerprint checks for foster applicants; utilizing the NABCS database to ensure fingerprints are tracked and information is continually updated, organizing and filing closed files, assisting with certified mailing, filing licensing paperwork, copying, scanning, data entry and occasional Resource family recruitment participation as well as other support duties to the Department as necessary.
