What you will be doing: As the Office Assistant 2, you’ll be a key part of supporting the Sitka Public Health Center and the local community. You’ll have the opportunity to provide customer service, work with medical records and data, collaborate with healthcare providers and off-site clinics, and take on a variety of administrative responsibilities. Requirements

  • High school diploma or the equivalent.
  • One year of experience that includes clerical tasks such as greeting clients, answering phones, typing, filing, sorting mail, entering data, receiving payments, making change, or maintaining logs.
  • A valid Driver's License is required at the time of appointment.
  • Proof of Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis (Tdap), Mumps, Measles, Rubella (MMR), and Varicella immunizations.
  • Proof of Hepatitis B (immunity or a signed declination statement).
  • Annual influenza vaccination or a signed declination statement.
  • Proof of Tuberculosis screening within the past 12 months.
  • A copy of your current driver’s license.
