Lane County WIC is looking to add a positive and dynamic team player able to adapt to new tasks quickly. This job requires working well under pressure while utilizing time efficiently. The office assistant position is responsible for various reception duties in a busy clinic setting. Tasks include checking in participants, scheduling appointments, answering phones, providing shopper education and eWIC cards, walk-in services, data entry and other clerical tasks. Lane County WIC is the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children. This public health program is designed to improve health outcomes and influence lifetime nutrition for families. Nutrition education is the cornerstone of the WIC Program. WIC provides services to income eligible pregnant and postpartum individuals as well as to families with infants or children under the age of five. Schedule: Mondays 8;00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with up to 2 Mondays per month 9:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Tuesday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. This is an AFSCME represented position.
