About The Position
PAM Health is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide care for a diverse patient population. The role offers a flexible schedule and involves working with chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. Candidates should have prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn. Under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, the Occupational Therapy Assistant provides direct patient care and plans and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients in accordance with occupational therapy principles and practices. The position requires flexibility to meet the needs of the PAM Health system across different facilities and includes other related duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
- Must be licensed as an OTA in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Current BLS certification is required.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.
Responsibilities
