About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) for Georgetown Rehab, with a flexible schedule. The role provides care to a diverse patient population, including chronically and critically ill patients who may require extended hospital care. Prior inpatient hospital experience is preferred, though candidates with a commitment and desire to learn are also considered. Under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, the Occupational Therapy Assistant provides direct patient care and plans and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to occupational therapy principles and practices within the PAM Health system. The assistant must be flexible to meet system needs across different facilities and performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Requirements
- Must be licensed as an OTA in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Current BLS certification is required.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience, or a desire and commitment to learn.
Responsibilities
