About The Position

PAM Health is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join its rehabilitation team and provide care to a diverse patient population, including patients with neurological and orthopedic conditions. The position offers a flexible PRN schedule and opportunities to gain experience with advanced rehabilitation technology, including the Balo system, Thera-Trainer Tigo, Tyromotion Diego, LiteGait, and neurosensory integration. Prior inpatient hospital experience is preferred, but candidates who are committed to learning and new graduates are welcome.

Under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, the Occupational Therapy Assistant provides direct patient care and plans and implements individualized treatment programs according to occupational therapy principles and practices within the PAM Health system. The assistant must be flexible to meet the needs of the system across different facilities and perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

• Must be licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
• Current BLS certification is required.

Nice To Haves

• One year of clinical experience is preferred.
• Prior inpatient hospital experience is preferred.
• New graduates are welcome; a desire and commitment to learn is suitable.

Responsibilities
