About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant to care for a diverse patient population. The role provides direct patient care and involves planning and implementing individualized treatment programs according to occupational therapy principles and practices. The assistant works under the direction of an Occupational Therapist and must be flexible to meet the needs of the system across different facilities. PAM Health cares for chronically and critically ill patients who may require extended hospital care.
Requirements
- Hold a current OTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Hold current BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience, or a desire and commitment to learn.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
- Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to occupational therapy principles and practices.
- Remain flexible to meet system needs across different facilities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
