About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant for its new rehabilitation hospital in Aiken. The assistant provides direct patient care and plans and implements individualized treatment programs according to occupational therapy principles and practices, under the direction of an Occupational Therapist. The role requires flexibility to meet the needs of the PAM Health system across different facilities. The hospital cares for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. Prior inpatient hospital experience is beneficial, though candidates committed to learning are also encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- Must be licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Current BLS certification is required.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience, or a desire and commitment to learn.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of the Occupational Therapist.
- Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to occupational therapy principles and practices.
- Remain flexible to meet the needs of the system across different facilities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
