About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) for its Fargo Rehab team. The role provides direct patient care and involves planning and implementing individual treatment programs according to occupational therapy principles and practices, under the direction of an Occupational Therapist. The assistant must be flexible to meet the needs of the system across different facilities. The position serves chronically and critically ill patients requiring extended hospital care. Prior inpatient hospital experience is helpful, though a commitment to learn is also welcomed.
Requirements
- Hold an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Current BLS certification is required.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience, or a desire and commitment to learn.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of the Occupational Therapist.
- Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to occupational therapy principles and practices.
- Be flexible to meet the needs of the system across different facilities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
