About The Position

Legacy Healthcare Services is seeking a talented, creative, and compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide rehabilitative care for senior patients in senior living communities. As a valued member of an on-site rehabilitation team, the assistant supports rehabilitative services under specific medical orders and as part of coordinated care. The role includes attentive one-on-one therapy for residents, using functional treatments and a holistic, patient-centered approach. The position offers mentorship and hands-on experience with innovative technologies and therapeutic treatments, as well as opportunities to advance a career, pursue clinical interests, and develop subject matter expertise. Some weekend availability is required. The listed pay range is $28.00–$37.00 per hour.

Requirements

Associate of Applied Science degree in the area of discipline.
Current occupational therapy assistant license in the state of practice, or ability to obtain one before starting.
Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.
Computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

Assist with rehabilitative services for patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
Provide one-on-one therapy services for residents.
Administer functional treatments emphasizing a holistic, patient-centered approach to care.
