Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
About The Position
Powerback is hiring an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide patient-centered rehabilitation in an in-facility setting. The role implements occupational therapy programs and activities, follows established recovery plans, and delivers therapy treatments to help patients restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence. The assistant adapts care to individual patient needs, collaborates with peers, and makes referrals when needed to support patients’ care. The position reports to the Director of Rehab. Powerback describes its approach as integrated and individualized, with a focus on helping patients recover and improve how they feel, move, breathe, and live. The posted salary is $35.00 per hour. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA and ACOTE standards.
- Obtain initial certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
- Be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
