About The Position
PAM Health is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) to provide care to a diverse patient population, including chronically and critically ill patients requiring extended hospital care. Under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, the OTA provides direct patient care and plans and implements individual treatment programs according to occupational therapy principles and practices within the PAM Health system. The role requires flexibility to meet system needs across different facilities and includes other related duties as assigned or requested. Prior inpatient hospital experience is valued, and candidates with a commitment to learning are also encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- Be licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Hold current BLS certification.

- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience, or a desire and commitment to learn.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
- Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to occupational therapy principles and practices.
- Be flexible in meeting the needs of the system across different facilities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
