About The Position

PAM Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) to provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population. The role provides hands-on care and supports individualized occupational therapy programs under the direction and supervision of an Occupational Therapist. PAM Health specializes in caring for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. The position is based at Centennial Hills Rehab and is listed as PRN.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Current OTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
Current BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

One year of clinical experience preferred.
Inpatient hospital experience preferred; motivated candidates eager to learn and grow are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in accordance with individualized treatment plans established by the Occupational Therapist.
Implement therapeutic activities and interventions designed to improve patients' functional abilities, independence, and quality of life.
Monitor patient responses and progress, and communicate observations to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
Assist patients in developing and improving skills needed for daily activities and functional independence.
Collaborate with nurses, therapists, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
Educate and encourage patients and families throughout the rehabilitation process.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Follow established clinical standards, policies, and procedures.
Remain flexible and responsive to the needs of the hospital and patients.
