About The Position

HealthPro Heritage is hiring a PRN, per diem Occupational Therapist for a senior living facility in Southlake, Texas. The role involves evaluating clients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities; developing personalized treatment plans; educating clients and families; documenting care; and advocating for clients’ needs. The organization describes its work as therapist-led and mission-driven, with clinical services across settings including nursing facilities, retirement communities, hospitals, home care, schools, and clinics. Requirements

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or license eligibility.
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
Proficiency in developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
Ability to lift and assist patients as needed.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to therapy.

Responsibilities

Evaluate clients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using observations and standardized tools.
Create personalized treatment plans to meet clients’ goals and enhance their functional abilities.
Educate clients and their families on improving daily activities, including the use of adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Advocate for clients’ needs and support them in accessing community resources, services, and accommodations.
