About The Position

Dignity Health East Valley Rehabilitation Hospital - Chandler is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide individualized rehabilitation care to patients recovering from conditions including stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. The Occupational Therapist evaluates patient conditions, develops tailored treatment plans, and provides therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills. The role documents treatment sessions and patient progress, collaborates with healthcare professionals and families in care planning, and educates patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment. The position also requires maintaining safety and regulatory compliance and performing other duties as assigned. The hospital is a 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital operated jointly with Lifepoint Health and Dignity Health and is CARF accredited for its Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation Program.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Current license to practice occupational therapy.
• CPR certification required.
• Strong interpersonal and documentation skills.
