About The Position

An Occupational Therapist is needed to provide rehabilitation services in an inpatient setting to a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. This is an 8-hour day-shift position, five days a week from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with weekend availability required as needed or scheduled. The role may also require staffing other rehabilitation department locations as needed.

The Occupational Therapist reports to the Inpatient Rehab Supervisor and Hospital Rehab Director and works with the interdisciplinary team to deliver individualized patient care.

Requirements

• Current Colorado Occupational Therapy license in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to adapt to various staffing needs within the rehabilitation unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in the inpatient rehabilitation unit.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine patient needs and progress.
• Document patient care activities in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.
• Assist in staffing other rehabilitation department locations as needed.
• Complete other job-related duties as assigned.
