About The Position
The Rehab Aide assists therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures and supports outpatient physical therapy center operations. The role includes helping with ancillary services, observing and reporting patient conditions and responses to treatment, supporting assigned center functions, and preparing and maintaining equipment. This is a PRN, as-needed position scheduled on weekdays, Monday through Friday, at the Battle Creek, Michigan location. Compensation is $15.00–$17.00 per hour, based on experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
Nice To Haves
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in a pre-health profession, such as biology, rehabilitation sciences, or exercise science.
- CPR certification.
- First aid certification.
- Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy center.
Responsibilities
- Assist therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures.
- Organize and schedule ancillary services, maintain related records, and support other center-specific functions.
- Observe and report abnormal patient conditions, reactions, or responses to treatment.
- Take a significant role in an assigned area of center operations, such as scheduling and following up on ancillary services, overseeing a specific program, or serving as OSHA coordinator.
- Clean, sterilize, and prepare equipment.
