About The Position
The Rehab Aide assists therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures and supports operations at an outpatient physical therapy center. The position also contributes to center operations, which may include scheduling and following up on ancillary services, overseeing a specific program, or serving as an OSHA coordinator.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
Nice To Haves
- CPR certification.
- First aid certification.
- Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy center.
- Health care experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures.
- Organize and schedule ancillary services and maintain related records.
- Support other center-specific functions.
- Observe and report abnormal patient conditions, reactions, or responses to treatment.
- Take a significant role in a specific area of center operations, such as scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a specific program, or serving as an OSHA coordinator.
- Clean, sterilize, and prepare equipment.
