About The Position

The Rehab Aide assists therapists with rehabilitation procedures and supports outpatient physical therapy center operations. The role also includes observing patients and reporting abnormal conditions, reactions, or responses to treatment, as well as cleaning, sterilizing, and preparing equipment. The position is per diem at 495 E Waterfront Dr Suite 240, Homestead, PA 15120, with a schedule of Wednesday 8 AM–1 PM and Friday 8 AM–12 PM, with some evenings until 7 PM. Compensation is $12 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification.
• First aid certification.
• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy center.
• Health care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures.
• Organize and schedule ancillary services, maintain related records, and support other center-specific functions.
• Observe and report abnormal patient conditions, reactions, or responses to treatment.
• Take responsibility for a specific area of center operations, such as scheduling and following up on ancillary services, overseeing a program, or serving as OSHA coordinator.
• Clean, sterilize, and prepare equipment.
