About The Position

HealthPro Heritage is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist in Bishopville, South Carolina, to provide care to residents in a skilled nursing facility and long-term care setting. The therapist will work with an established, collaborative rehabilitation team to help residents improve their health, function, independence, and quality of life through personalized care. The role includes assessing residents, developing and delivering treatment plans, educating residents and families, maintaining documentation, and advocating for residents’ needs. Compensation is hourly, up to $50 depending on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, a 401(k), and free access to CEU360. Requirements

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or eligibility to obtain a license.
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
Proficiency in developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.
Ability to lift and assist patients as needed.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to therapy.

Responsibilities

Evaluate clients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities through observation and standardized tools.
Create personalized treatment plans that address clients’ goals and enhance functional abilities.
Educate clients and their families about improving daily activities, including the use of adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Advocate for clients’ needs and support access to community resources, services, and accommodations.
