About The Position
Powerback is hiring an Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centered occupational therapy in an in-facility setting. The therapist assesses patient needs, develops recovery plans, and delivers therapy designed to restore, reinforce, and enhance patients’ physical abilities and independence. The role includes adapting care to individual patients and varied needs, collaborating with peers, making referrals when appropriate, and teaching patients and caregivers skills that promote independence and productivity. The position reports to the Director of Rehab. Powerback Rehabilitation provides recovery, rehabilitation, respiratory, and wellness services through integrated, individualized solutions. The company describes its approach as patient-centered and focused on helping people recover and thrive. The posted salary is USD $45.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
- Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice.
Responsibilities
