Occupational Therapist-Neuro-Part-Time
About The Position
Collage Home and Community Rehabilitation Partners is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centered neurological rehabilitation in Lubbock, Texas, and surrounding areas. The organization treats traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and other neurological or complex orthopedic diagnoses in patients’ homes and communities. Interdisciplinary teams develop integrated treatment plans, which therapists practice with patients in their homes and communities using creative activities to address functional goals and support durable outcomes. The organization provides intensive, individualized, one-on-one services for patients across the continuum, from severe brain injury through job readiness. Clinicians are supported by therapy-led leadership and experienced teams that tailor programs to each patient’s needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- State licensure.
- Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and coworkers.
Nice To Haves
- Professional certification or a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Experience treating neurologically related disorders.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat impairments involving upper-extremity function, activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), visual and perceptual skills, cognitive needs, adaptive equipment needs, and assistive technology needs.
- Practice integrated treatment plans with patients in their homes and communities.
