Occupational Therapist-Neuro-Part-Time
About The Position
Collage Home and Community Rehabilitation Partners is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centered neurological rehabilitation in patients’ homes and communities in Arlington, Texas, and surrounding areas. The organization treats traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and other neurological or complex orthopedic diagnoses. Occupational Therapists work within interdisciplinary teams to create integrated treatment plans and use creative, evidence-based activities to address functional goals and support durable outcomes. Services are individualized and provided one-on-one across a continuum of needs, from severe brain injury through job readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- State licensure.
- Excellent planning, organization, writing, and time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers.
Nice To Haves
- Professional certification or a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Experience treating neurologically related disorders.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat impairments related to upper-extremity function, activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), visual and perceptual skills, cognitive needs, adaptive equipment needs, and assistive technology needs.
- Work with interdisciplinary teams to create integrated treatment plans practiced in patients’ homes and communities.
- Provide individualized, patient-centered treatment using activities that address functional goals.
