About The Position

HealthPro Pediatrics is hiring a school-based Occupational Therapist in Clover Park, Washington. The role is offered full-time or part-time as a W-2 position, with hourly rates up to $63. The therapist will provide pediatric therapy to help students develop functional abilities and reach their goals, working as part of a collaborative team. Requirements

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or eligibility to obtain a license.
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
Proficiency in developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.
Ability to lift and assist patients as needed, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks related to therapy.

Responsibilities

Evaluate clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities through observation and standardized tools.
Create personalized treatment plans to meet clients' goals and enhance their functional abilities.
Educate clients and their families on improving daily activities, including the use of adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Advocate for clients' needs and support access to community resources, services, and accommodations.
