About The Position

The Occupational Therapist at Palomar Health Rehabilitation Institute is responsible for evaluating patients and developing treatment plans that promote the ability to perform daily activities and improve functional independence. The role includes delivering therapeutic interventions, documenting care and progress, collaborating with healthcare professionals and families, and educating patients and caregivers about adaptive techniques and equipment. The therapist must maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Current license to practice occupational therapy.
• CPR certification required.
• Must pass a background check.
• Strong interpersonal and documentation skills required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
