About The Position

Highpoint Health - Sumner with Ascension Saint Thomas is hiring an Occupational Therapist for its Acute Rehabilitation Unit. The Occupational Therapist evaluates patient conditions, develops individualized treatment plans, and provides therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills. The role includes documenting treatment sessions and progress, collaborating with healthcare professionals and families on care planning, and educating patients and caregivers about adaptive techniques and equipment. The therapist also maintains compliance with safety and regulatory standards and performs other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Current license to practice occupational therapy.
• CPR certification required.

• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation is preferred.

Responsibilities
